Origin: Southern Suriname
Features: A Stunning species sought after for its blue colour, not poisonous in captivity
Temperature: 75 – 78F with a small drop at night. Humidity should remain fairly high
Size: 1.25 – 1.75 inches
Life Span: 2 -5 years
Herp Habitat: A well planted “rainforest” setup is required with a mixture of live and fake plants, a mossy substrate, clean and chlorine free water and plenty of hiding areas
Suitability: INTERMEDIATE ADVANCED
Diet: Will happily eat small inverts; feed on a diet mainly of small crickets dusted regularly and fruitflies
